Curious and aspiring academic currently working in a job I love in communications and strategy consulting. My interests, research or otherwise, include, but are not limited to, Comparative Literature, Media and Communications, Italian Literature, Italian anything, Cities, Radicalism, Music, Film, Football and Rugby.

Coming off the back of a frenzied 2017, where I often found myself reading or watching something interesting and reflecting on things but having no time to internalize and make sense of anything, I was feeling very inspired on 1 January to make a difference for myself and for the people around me. To create for myself a space to record, organize and make sense of the thoughts and reflections I have on everything from populist politics to French idiosyncrasies, I have decided to own my domain and revive a blog magazine I kept in 2008. This site is intended as an online repository of all the thinking, writing and reflections of everything that piques my interest, with a strong focus on music, books, films, work-related topics (strategy, coaching, media), and comparative literature and cultural studies. All views expressed here are my own and are not reflective of or affiliated with my employer.

While I continue to grow in my professional career, I also carry the hope to one day work on my PhD in the field of comparative literature and cultural studies. I received my MA in English (Literature and Film Studies) from Nanyang Technological University in 2013. I am fluent in English, Chinese and am working towards full proficiency in Italian and French.
